Diablo III Currency Auction House: Blizzard Partners with PayPal
Everyone saw this one coming. Blizzard Entertainment has partnered with PayPal to handle Battle.net and Diablo III Real Money (Currency) Auction House transactions.
In order to create a PayPal account, users have to link their bank account or credit card. You don't need a credit card in order to open a PayPal account. It makes it easier for many people without a credit card -- and facilitates international players to pay and be paid through PayPal.
Another benefit of PayPal is all purchases and transactions are secure and protected against fraud. It's a great choice.
We're pleased to announce that in most regions, PayPal will be our payment-service partner for the Diablo III auction house, allowing players who trade with real-world currency the ability to cash out the spoils of their battle-torn adventures via a PayPal account.
PayPal will also soon be added in several regions as a payment option on Battle.net, providing another convenient and secure payment method for digital purchases of Blizzard products and services.
We’ll share region-related specifics, as well as further details on everything mentioned above, in the near future. Stay tuned! -- source
